With 32 years of real estate experience, Brian Bender brings extensive market knowledge, honesty, reliability, and dedication to every client he serves. A Sarasota County resident for over 20 years a Brian offers a broad understanding of communities throughout Sarasota and Manatee counties. 

His familiarity extends from Venice through Sarasota and north into Manatee County, including waterfront, downtown, golf, condominium and residential communities. Having also spent 14 years working on Longboat Key, Brian understands the distinctions among the area’s coastal and mainland lifestyles. 

Brian entered real estate at age 23 and He quickly immersed himself in professional training and discovered a career he genuinely enjoyed in the Deep Creek Lake, Md. Over the years, he earned his GRI and Residential Resort Specialist designations and received Century 21 Rookie of the Year honors, along with multiple Top Producer awards. 

During the real estate market downturn, Brian expanded his career into property and community association management. He has managed more than 2,000 residences, including luxury Gulf-front high-rises, waterfront communities, condominiums, homeowners associations, townhomes and villas. He has also overseen million-dollar capital improvement projects and approximately 40 residential renovations. 

That experience gives Brian a perspective extending well beyond the transaction. He helps buyers consider not only a home’s appearance and location, but also its condition, maintenance requirements, association responsibilities, reserves, ongoing expenses, and long-term ownership considerations. For clients considering condominium living, he also brings practical knowledge of association operations and Florida’s structural integrity reserve study requirements. 

Brian believes in working hard, doing the right thing, treating people with kindness and never giving up. He is a dependable and caring professional who communicates consistently with his clients. He helps buyers compare their options without pressure and keeps sellers informed throughout the listing process, even when market activity is limited. 

Brian’s service continues beyond the closing table. Through his years in property and community management, he has developed a network of trusted local professionals who can assist clients with repairs, maintenance, renovations and other home-related needs. 

Outside of real estate, he enjoys faith, family, and fun. Brian has been married to his wife, Kelly, for 25 years. They have two sons, Isaac and Jordan, and are excited to welcome their first grandchild. Brian enjoys beach volleyball, golf, morning boot camp and spending time outdoors with his family. He also volunteers with his son’s nonprofit organization, Hands and Feet.
